Final Words
The Punjab Tractor Scheme is an excellent effort by the Government of Punjab to support small farmers. This initiative focuses on helping those who cannot afford a tractor by offering them at a reduced cost with flexible payment options. Under this scheme, small-scale farmers will have better access to modern farming equipment, allowing them to increase their agricultural production. This step is expected to improve the overall quality of crops and give a significant boost to the agricultural sector. Farmers can customize the installment plan to suit their financial capacity, making it easier for them to participate in this program. The Punjab government has also announced that it will cover 60% of the tractor’s total cost, leaving only 40% for the farmer to pay. This 40% can be paid in easy installments, ensuring financial relief for deserving farmers while promoting better farming practices and rural development.
