Punjab Dhee Rani Scheme Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for this scheme are as follows:

Girls who are destitute / orphan / Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) / daughters of a PWD of ages between 18-40 years.
The applicant can be the father or mother or guardian of the bride or the bride herself.
Must be domiciled in Punjab.
In case of more applications, the selection of the applicants shall be made through electronic balloting.
An Affidavit regarding being unmarried and willing to participate in the collective wedding ceremony is required.

Money Gift of Bride by CM

Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz announced that every deserving couple will receive the amount of 1 Lac as “Salami”, Salami is considered a token of happiness in the Punjabi Culture. It is the specific amount to be given to the newlywed couple by the relatives. The amount of 1 lac will be assistance for deserving families to plan marriage activities and manage necessities. This payment will be given to the families through the ATM card of the Bank of Punjab.

How to Apply For Punjab Dhee Rani Scheme
