Punjab’s government has started distributing Kisan Cards to support local farmers. In the first stage, 40000 cards will be handed out across the province. These cards allow farmers to easily access funds and buy essential agricultural products like fertilizers. Farmers can use these cards at ATMs or even at fertilizer dealer shops for easy withdrawals. This guide explains how to apply for the Kisan Card. Maryam Nawaz recently introduced this and five other key projects, including the Green Tractor Scheme, during a meeting in Lahore.

Conclusion
The Kisan Card Scheme is an essential initiative supporting Punjab’s small farmers. By providing interest-free loans, this program helps farmers access fertilizers and other supplies. The first 40000 cards have already been distributed, and other programs like the Agricultural Mall Pilot Project and Green Tractor Scheme are underway. These efforts aim to help farmers prosper and improve their farming practices. Like similar support programs, the Kisan Card Scheme ensures that farmers, especially those with limited resources, have the tools they need to succeed in agriculture.
