The PEEF, since its inception in 2009 has awarded more than 465,000 scholarships to students of Punjab and other provinces who are currently pursuing education through public and private sector institutions like LUMS, NUST, FAST, IBA Karachi, GIKI Swabi, etc. Intermediate, Graduation, Masters, and PhD. PEEF has been established to promote academic excellence by providing financial support to talented and needy students to help them realize their potential. PEEF Scholarship Scheme Eligibility Criteria
Students qualifying for the above conditions and fulfilling the following criteria are eligible to apply:
- Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks in Matric for Intermediate Scholarship and at least 60% marks in Intermediate for Undergraduate Scholarship.
- Students studying only in federal/government/private institutions in Punjab Territory can apply.
- Students must have been admitted to Regular Government/Private registered educational institutions.
- Total family income must be less than Rs 60,000 per month.
- Children of government employees of BPS 1-4 (Children of Both Serving and Retired Govt. servants are exempted from the condition of Rs 60,000 income per month.
- Children of civilian martyrs in terrorist attacks are also exempted from this condition.
Types of Scholarships
PEEF offers different types of scholarships such as PEEF Master Level Scholarships, PEEF Outreach and Special Quota Scholarships, and Scholarships for Other Provinces.
Special Quota Scholarships
PEEF has allocated 20% of its total scholarships to the Special Quota category. The Special Quota Scholarships are awarded under these categories:
- Orphans
- Children of government employees of BPS 1-4 (Children of Both Serving and Retired Govt. servants are eligible)
- Children belonging to a minority religion
- Special Children (Disabled)
- The Children of civilians martyred in terrorist attacks
- Children of divorced mothers
Special Quota Educational Scholarships are for students studying in Intermediate and Undergraduate degree programs in any institution registered by the Higher Education Commission. For Intermediate Scholarships students must have passed Matriculation Exams in the year 2024. Students studying in any undergraduate program must have passed the Intermediate examination in the year 2024.

PEEF Scholarship Scheme Ineligibility
Students passing exams under TEVTA/PBTE are ineligible to apply. Students of other provinces are ineligible to apply. Handwritten applications are not acceptable. Students with Repeated/ Marks Improved/Grace Marks are ineligible to apply.

The application procedure is very simple.

- Click on the Apply Online button
- Provide correct information while applying online. Enter Personal details, Academic details, Family Income information, and Special Quota Category Information.
- Upload the certificate of the relevant category in PDF (File Size must be 2MB
- After filling in the application form, read it again and then submit it.

The documents required for this scholarship are as follows:
- Academic Certificates
- Family Income Certificates
- Personal Identity and Parent’s Identity Certificates
- Special Quota Certificate
Process For the Award of Scholarships
- Newspaper advertisements are released, and applications are invited to students to apply online within the due date.
- The applications received are scrutinized and eligible students are shortlisted against scholarships allocated for each district, category, and gender
- Intimation letters and scholarship application forms are sent to the residential addresses of the shortlisted students
- Shortlisted students fill in and return the scholarship application forms to PEEF
- All the received forms are scrutinized and verified.
- District, category, and gender-wise merit lists are prepared for the award of scholarships
- Scholarships are awarded through the respective educational institutions where PEEF scholars are currently enrolled.
