This scheme is for the residents of Punjab Province. Punjab Solar Panels Scheme
The Punjab Government divided the distribution of solar panels into phases. In the first phase, 100,000 citizens from Punjab will receive the solar panels. In the second phase, 120,000 citizens will get solar panels from the Punjab Government. Those citizens who have multiple meters are not eligible to avail of this opportunity. In the first phase, the solar panels will be distributed to those citizens who consume 200 units. Those who consumed more than 200 units are not eligible to get the panels. In the second solar panels will be distributed to those consumers who consume units between 200 and 500.
Eligibility Criteria For Solar Panel Scheme
The eligibility criteria for the solar panel scheme are mentioned below. You must fulfill the below criteria to avail this opportunity.
- Applicant must be from the Punjab Province.
- Government employers are not eligible to apply for solar panel schemes.
- Those families who have the Punjab Province address on their ID card, but live in other provinces are also eligible to avail this opportunity.

How To Register For Solar Panel Schemes
- First of all, visit the Punjab Government website.
- Search for the Solar Panel schemes.
- Now click on the registration button.
- The form will be opened.
- Fill out the application form completely.
- Enter your name and your father’s name in capital letters and also enter the other information.
- When you fill out the form click on the generated password.
- The password will be generated.
- When you are all done click on the submit button.
- Your registration for the solar schemes will be completed.
- The Punjab government sends you the username and password on your mobile phone.
How To Apply For Punjab Solar Panel Scheme
- Open the Punjab government website on your system.
- Click on the Apply link for Solar schemes.
- Fill out the form and attach the documents which are mentioned in the application form.
- Don’t forget to attach a copy of your past month’s electricity bill.
- At last click on the Finish button.
- Your application will be submitted.
- Within a few minutes, you will receive a message from the Government of Punjab authorities about when you will receive the solar panels.
